Aase completed her studies at “The Norwegian State Superior School of Handcraft, Fine and Applied Art” (SHKS)

• 1956-60 Study of portraiture (USA 1980)
• Studies and self training at the company: Finn Hansen ́s Art Glass Workshop in Oslo
• Several courses in different glass techniques.

Studies and training at The Electronic workshop of Atelier Nord in Oslo over 18 months (1994-95). She has exhibited her work at numerous group and collective exhibitions, such as:

• The Oppland Exhibition: 78-80-82-84
• The Vesterål Exhibition: 92
• Melbu summer Exhibition: 93
• Selbu summer Exhibition: 94
• Itinerant exhibition in Poland. (94/95 - organized by Atelier Nord)

So far she has 14 separate exhibitions organized by artist associations as well as private and artist managed galleries.

She has been awarded the “County of Oppland Artist Prize” 1979 - 82 and 95. Featured in NRK-TV, (Norwegian National Broadcasting Corporation) cultural programme series “PAN”, (20 min.) 1980.
